HOW FAR IN ADVANCE DO I NEED TO PLACE MY ORDER?

While we require that special orders be placed at least 3 days in advance, we highly recommend placing orders 1-2 weeks in advance for any special orders as our schedule does book up. For weddings, we recommend placing your order at least 2 months in advance of your wedding date.


HOW MUCH ARE CONSULTATIONS AND TASTINGS?
HOW LONG IS A TYPICAL CONSULTATION? CAN I BRING MY FAMILY AND MY BRIDAL PARTY?

We offer design consultations and tastings for orders over $300 to ensure that you get exactly the cake you want. Tastings are $25 with payment due at the time of booking the appointment. If you decide you would like to book your event with Pretty Please Bakeshop, the tasting will be complimentary & the fee credited towards your final bill. Consultations include both tasting and a design session and are limited to 1 hour in length. You are welcome to bring guests, but we do recommend limiting it to 2 trusted guests as the consultation can become unfocused and less productive when several people are present.


DO YOU DELIVER? IS THERE A DELIVERY/SET-UP FEE?

Delivery is available and reasonably priced according to location. Wedding cake delivery fees include setup. If you would like us to set up your dessert bar, there is an additional set up fee of $100 which includes dessert signage.


CAN WE ORDER A SMALL CAKE TO CUT AND SHEETCAKES TO SERVE THE GUESTS?

Sheet cakes are available to supplement a tiered cake with a minimum of 100 servings and are $5 per serving.


DO YOU PROVIDE OR RENT CAKE TOPPERS/CAKE KNIFE/CAKE STANDS?

We have several beautiful cake stands and platters available for rental. We do not rent serving utensils or cake toppers.

IF I PROVIDE A PICTURE OF WHAT I LIKE, CAN YOU RE-CREATE IT? DOES CUSTOM DESIGN COST EXTRA?

While we prefer to create unique cakes, we are happy to work with an image and do our best to replicate it. All custom cakes are priced based upon the complexity of the design.


HOW MUCH IS REQUIRED AS DEPOSIT TO HOLD MY DATE?

Orders over $300 require a non-refundable retainer of 50% of the order total as well as a signed contract to confirm the order. The balance and any changes to the order are due no later than 14 days before your event. Orders under $300 must be paid in full at the time of order placement in order to confirm the order. Orders are NOT confirmed until payment has been made.


CAN I PICK UP THE CAKE DURING NON-BUSINESS HOURS?

Yes! While we don't open until 11 am, our team is there by 8 am so you may make arrangements to pick up the order prior to store opening. We do accept wedding orders for delivery on Sundays.


DO YOU MAKE PARTY FAVORS?

Sure do! Custom sugar cookies and boxed macarons are client favorites! Email us about options.


ARE THERE ANY SET DESSERTS AVAILABLE EACH DAY?

We have a set menu available in the storefront each day which includes twinks, mini pies, cupcakes, cookies, banana bread, french macarons, brownies and babycakes. The flavors change weekly based on the season. We also offer specials such as cheesecake, panna cotta, puddings and anything else we dream up. We post our menu daily to Facebook and Twitter.


CAN YOU ONLY PRE-ORDER A CAKE? 

All cakes 6" and larger are available only for pre-order. We have a selection of babycakes which serve 3-5 in various flavors available for pickup daily.
